Xiaomi has started releasing the latest Android TV 9 update for the Mi TV 4A Pro 32-inch and Mi TV 4C Pro 32-inch models. The new firmware will be available for both the models as an over-the-air (OTA) update.
The company has also confirmed that other Pro and non-Pro Mi TVs will also get the Android update pretty soon.
Here's all about it.
How to update your Mi TV?
Since Xiaomi is rolling out the update through over-the-air update, it will automatically reach your Mi TV model over the next few days.
However, you can also manually check for the availability of the update. To get started, head over to Settings > Device Preferences > About > System Update.
If the new firmware is available for you, simply download and install it.
What's new in Android TV 9 update?
Interestingly, Xiaomi hasn't shared what's new in the Android TV 9.0 update for its Mi TVs. However, going by Google's announcement for Android TV 9.0, you should see some tweaks in the user interface, performance enhancements, Autofill with Google feature, revamped Setting app, and more.
