Vivo has reduced the prices of Y91 and Y91i smartphones in India.
Citing retail chain sources, 91Mobiles has claimed that the company has slashed the prices of these handsets by Rs. 500.
The new prices are reportedly applicable across retail stores. However, at the time of writing this article, the phones were listed at their old prices on Vivo e-store.

First, let's take a look at the new prices
With the latest price revision, the top variants of the Vivo Y91 and Vivo Y91i have become cheaper by Rs. 500.
The 2GB/32GB variant of the Vivo Y91i is now available at Rs. 6,990 (previous price: Rs. 7,490), while the 3GB/32GB model of the Vivo Y91 is now selling at Rs. 8,490 (previous price: Rs. 8,990).

Meanwhile, here's recalling both smartphones
Up front, both the Vivo Y91 and Y91i sport a familiar waterdrop notched design with an ultra-slim bottom bezel.
On the rear, the former houses a dual camera unit and a physical fingerprint scanner, while the latter gets a single camera with LED flash.
Also, both handsets offer a 6.22-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720x1520 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
In the imaging department, the Vivo Y91 houses a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) main sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor, while the Y91i gets a single 13MP (f/2.2) lens.
For the selfie lovers, the Y91 offers an 8MP (f/1.8) front-facing snapper, while the Y91i gets a smaller 5MP (f/1.8) shooter.
Under the hood
The Vivo Y91 is fueled by a Snapdragon 439 processor, paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.
On the other hand, the Y91i draws power from a Helio P22 chipset, mated with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of storage (expandable upto 256GB).
Under the hood, both phones pack a 4,030mAh battery and run Android Oreo-based FunTouch OS 4.5.

Both Vivo Y91 and Y91i come with support for the latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, micro-USB port, and a headphone jack. They also offer all the standard sensors including an accelerometer, proximity, and e-compass.
