However, the 2021 iPhone might be one of the first-ever production devices (certainly the first iPhone) to ditch all ports to offer a completely wireless experience.
Hopefully, Apple will offer really fast fast-charging technology
As the iPhone will have no ports for charging, it is understandable that we have have to charge it wirelessly.
Since 2017, all premium iPhones have supported Qi-based wireless charging standard but the charging speed is very slow in comparison to wired charging.
Hence, we expect that the 2021 iPhone comes with fast fast-charging technology.
Big screens matter
Apple will also launch an iPhone SE 2 Plus
Kuo has also claimed that Apple will launch an iPhone SE 2 Plus with a full-screen design and 5.5 or 6.1-inch display. This will seemingly be a bigger screened low-cost model since the iPhone SE 2 is said to sport a 4.7-inch display.
Further, this model will not feature Face ID. Instead, a Touch ID fingerprint reader will be built into the power button.
iPhone SE 2 Plus to launch in H1 2021
While the port-less iPhone is expected to launch sometime around September 2021, the iPhone SE 2 Plus could release sometime in the spring or summer. According to Kuo, this model would arrive in the first half of 2021.
