AppleiPhone 12 is tipped to come with some major hardware upgrade and welcome design changes to take on the spec-loaded Galaxy 20 series.
According to EverythingApplePro, the next-gen iPhone will take on rivals with an upgraded triple-lens camera and new a time-of-flight sensor. Other rumors also suggest the handset will offer a refreshed design, 120Hz OLED screen, a bigger battery, and 5G connectivity.
The iPhone 12 is tipped to keep the same triple camera setup while getting a new Time-of-Flight 3D sensor that will improve portraits and offer better AR experience.
The main 12MP camera might also get upgraded to a 64MP sensor while the aperture of the 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens might be increased from f/1.8 to f/1.6. Moreover, all three cameras will now support Night Mode.
According to rumors, the iPhone 12 series is likely to come with 120Hz OLED screens. This will be an important feature considering all the newer Android flagships, including the Samsung Galaxy S20 series and OPPO Find X2 Pro, come with this high refresh rate screen.
A recent iPhone 12 concept render revealed that the notch will be relatively smaller, and the edges will also be shaved to offer increased screen real-estate. The word is that Apple is looking to shrink the Face ID setup by adopting a periscope module.
