Expanding its portfolio of mid-budget smartphones, Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy M21 in India on March 16.
The handset will arrive as an upgrade to the Galaxy M20 model, which went official last year.
The upcoming smartphone is likely to offer an AMOLED screen, a 48MP triple rear camera, a gigantic 6,000mAh battery, and mid-level internals.
Here are more details.
Design and display
Samsung Galaxy M21: At a glance
It is yet to be revealed if the Galaxy M21 will retain the Infinity V-styled notched design of the M20 or get a different setup. However, according to reports, the smartphone will sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Further, the handset could be offered in Black, Blue, and White color options.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
According to IANS, the Galaxy M21 will house a triple-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor. The details of the other two lenses are not known at the moment. Up front, it is likely to house a respectable 20MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The Samsung Galaxy M21 will reportedly be powered by an Exynos 9611 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.
The handset would run Android 10-based One UI 2.0 and pack a massive 6,000mAh battery.
Furthermore, it will come with support for the latest connectivity options, including dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
And, how much will it cost?
Samsung will reveal the official details of the Galaxy M21 on March 18. But, looking at the specifications, the phone is expected to be priced around Rs. 10,000. Once launched, it will compete against Realme 6, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and OPPO A9 2020.
