The FlexPai 2 looks identical to the original model featuring the same out-folding design. As an updated model though, it now sports a third-generation Cicada Wing Fully Flexible Display that is claimed to have a smaller crease, reduced bend radius, while offering improved brightness and response time.
The company is also touting its proprietary screen technology that eliminates the layer peeling effect.
It will offer a quad camera setup
Royole has highlighted the display technology and key hardware details of the FlexPai 2. Meanwhile, the images have confirmed that the handset would house a quad-lens camera setup. As for the details and capabilities of these sensors, we'll have to wait for a full-fledged launch.

The FlexPai 2 sports a 7.8-inch AMOLED screen that will offer 500x better contrast over an LCD panel.
Under the hood, it is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865 processor, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage (details not revealed).
It will also offer true stereo speakers, and support all the latest connectivity options.
It is likely to be priced around $1,600
Royole is yet to reveal the detailed specifications, pricing, and availability details of the FlexPai 2. However, it is likely to be launched at around $1,600 (approximately Rs. 1,21,700) - the global retail price at which the original FlexPai was launched.
