Chinese telecommunications equipment company Coolpad has launched its new budget smartphone, the Note 5 Lite C, at Rs. 7,777 in India.
It is now available across 3,000 multi-brand offline stores across eight states, while it will go on sale online on Amazon from 20 August.
It is available in Grey and Gold color options.

Unlike most smartphone makers, Coolpad doesn't compromise on specifications in its affordable phones range.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C comes with some pretty decent specs compared to other phones in this price bracket.
Another highlight is that it is the first device from the house of Coolpad to run on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.
What are the specs offered by the smartphone?
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C comes with a 5-inch HD display.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor; it has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 64GB).
The device houses an 8MP camera with flash and autofocus on the back and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The dual-SIM 4G LTE phone has a 2,500mAh battery.

Coolpad India CEO Syed Tajuddin's statement
Syed Tajuddin stated: "There is a lot more that will come from Coolpad for our India fans, as we plan to launch one major online flagship on 20th August and four more offline exclusive products by the end of 2018."

Coolpad India has focused on the online segment for its devices so far.
But with the Note 5 Lite C, Coolpad has started expanding to the offline space as well.
The company will continue its offline presence and expand to 18 states by 2018-end.

CEO Tajuddin said they would continue to follow the strategy of offering smartphones with high specs at affordable prices.
He said expanding to the offline smartphone market with Note 5 Lite C gives the company immense pleasure as they can now reach out to more fans.
He added, "Coolpad has become a major brand in India with full coverage from online to offline channels."
