After 22 action packed days, the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 will end today with the finals between Spain and England.
This tournament marks a beginning of a new era for Indian football as this was the first FIFA tournament in which Indian team participated.

Indian fans record maximum attendance
The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 is all set to become the most attended edition in the history of the tournament.
Till the semi-finals, the total attendance was recorded at 1,224,027 just 6,949 behind the highest attendance recorded in the inaugural edition of the tournament.

Highest scoring tournament in the history
The 2017 edition of the tournament will also become the highest scoring edition in the history.
In 50 matches so far, the teams have scored 170 goals, two less than the most number of goals scored in 2013 edition of the tournament in the United Arab Emirates.
With 3.4 goals per match, it is the best average since the format was changed in 2007.
