Chelsea have set up the FA Cup final date with Jose Mourinho's Manchester United after beating Southampton 2-0 in the semi-final at the Wembley stadium in London.
Goals from Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata sealed the deal for the West London club.
Chelsea had lost the final last year and now they have another opportunity to redeem themselves on May 19.
Chelsea hit the woodwork 7 minutes into the game
The first half was mostly a dull affair completely dominated by the Blues.
Chelsea's best effort in the first half came in the 7th minute when they started a brilliant counter attack led by Eden Hazard.
The Belgian then picked Willian.
He was in space and had cut inside and struck the ball only to watch it rattle the cross bar.
Giroud breaks the deadlock
Chelsea got down straight to business as the second half resumed.
Giroud scored a mind-blowing goal to put the Blues ahead at Wembley.
Hazard sent in a brilliant pass to the striker who dazzled past four defenders and then the keeper before poking it into the net to make it 1-0 for Chelsea in the 46th minute.
Giroud has mastered the art of finding FA cup goals
