MI vs SRH: Head-to-head, Playing XI and other interesting stats
The last time these two sides played against each other in IPL 2018, SRH won a thriller. Will Tuesday's tie be as exciting?
The match number 23 of IPL 2018 is slated to be held at the Wankhede.
Here is our pre-match report.
Head to head: Mumbai ahead at the Wankhede
Mumbai Indians will go into this tie with confidence, given their head-to-head record against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede.
The two teams have met here thrice and Mumbai have a 100% win-record. Overall, it's 6-5 in favour of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
However, since SRH had beat them earlier this season, Mumbai will be wary of the Williamson-led squad.
A tale of two captains
Kane Williamson has been in stellar form with the bat after having amassed 230 runs already. He can get hold of the Orange Cap on Tuesday.
On the other hand, Rohit Sharma has struggled and has just 138 runs out of which 94 runs came in a single match.
In the five games played, MI have won just one, whereas SRH have won three.
Both teams need to bat well
Both sides were unable to bat smartly in the middle-order in their previous matches against Royals and Super Kings respectively. Therefore, it will be vital for the middle-order batsmen to come out and apply themselves well.
