Andy Murray beat the defending champion Stan Wawrinka 6-4 6-2 4-6 6-2, in the semis to set up a French Open Final against the World No.1 Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic beat Dominic Thiem 6-2 6-1 6-4 in the semis.

Both players will look to win their first French Open title and Djokovic is eyeing for a career slam with a win at Roland Garros.

The unseeded Indo-Swiss pair eked out a 4-6 6-4 10-8 win over the second seeds in the summit clash.

It was the 18th Grand Slam title for Paes and a 10th slam in the mixed doubles category.

While Serena survived Dutchwoman Kiki Bertens in the semis, Muguruza underlined her form beating Samatha Stosur in the semis.

On the way to reach his fourth French Open Final (2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016), Djokovic beat Lu Yen-Hsun, Steve Darcis, Bedene, Bautista Agut, Tomas Berdych and Dominic Thiem. Murray overcame Stepanek, Mathias Bourgue, Ivo Karlovic, John Isner, Gasquet and Stan Wawrinka, enroute to the final.

Muguruza won 7-5 6-4, taking out world number one Williams in a huge upset, becoming Spain's first female champion at Roland Garros since Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario in 1998.

William's hoped to beat Muguruza to win her 22nd Grand Slam single's title, equaling Steffi Graf's record.

Novak Djokovic defeated Andy Murray to win his first French Open, completing his career Grand Slam.

The Serb won 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-4 to win his 12th major title.

He is now the first man since Rod Laver's record in 1969 to hold all four Grand Slams at once.

He is also only the 8th man in history to win all four single's trophies.
