Former Australian stalwart Shane Warne has stated that current Test skipper Tim Paine is not the long-term solution to lead the side.
According to reports, Warne said that he believes that wicket-keepers do not make good captains.
He opined that in the short time Paine has been good, but Aussies need to find a new skipper soon.

The former spinner feels that new head coach Justin Langer will sort out everything.
He also added that Langer is very hardworking and disciplined and the team will benefit with the values he will bring to the table.
With Justin being the coach across all formats, Warne felt for the time being it is the best way to go.
Different skippers the way?
Warne said that in the coming time Australia could opt for different skippers in different formats which they will figure out. He also added that there may be separate coaches for white ball and red ball cricket.

Langer's biggest challenge will be to fix the scandal-hit team, improve the team's behavior and win back the trust of the people.
Apart from that, India's tour of Australia towards the end of this year and the Ashes series early next year will be the series where his ability as a coach will be put to test.
