An Egyptian lawyer has filed a $1.2 billion lawsuit against Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos for injuring Liverpool mid-fielder Mohamed Salah.
The Spaniard received widespread criticism for the injury caused to Salah in the UEFA Champions League final between the two sides.
Ramos now finds himself in a new problematic situation.

Egyptian lawyer blames Ramos for causing harm to Salah
Lawyer Bassem Wahba has filed the lawsuit and confirmed his stance on Egyptian national television.
Wahba stated that Spaniard Ramos needs to be punished for causing harm to Salah and also added that he has filed a complaint to FIFA.
Wahba further said that he is seeking the amount for the physical and psychological harm inflicted on Salah and Egyptian people.
Salah racing to be fit for the World Cup
After the gruesome challenge in the UCL final in Kiev, Liverpool's early dominance ended as Salah was forced to leave the field after 30 minutes.
Scans suggested that he damaged his shoulder ligaments and his participation in the 2018 World Cup in Russia is doubtful.
Although the Egyptian King is confident on taking part in the coveted tourney, there is no official confirmation.
Online petition against Ramos
According to reports about half a million people have signed an online petition to seek punishment for Ramos. The petition claimed that Ramos is an awful example as he defies spirit of the sport using tricks.

It is their first appearance in the tourney after a period of 28 years.
