The third ODI of the ongoing series, between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, saw the Asian side walk over their African rivals with ease.

Pakistan ended affairs early when they achieved the target half an hour before the lunch break with 241 balls to spare.

Here are the records broken in the match.

Unwanted record

An embarrassing total by Zimbabwe

An embarrassing total by Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe have scripted several records, in this match, which they would not be proud of.

The match saw the 22nd lowest ODI total in history and second lowest against Pakistan.

Their innings crumbled under the fiery bowling attack of Faheem Ashraf (5/22).

Notably, the lowest-ever score, in an ODI, also belongs to Zimbabwe, when they had scored 35 against Sri Lanka in 2004.

Pakistan bowlers were in a different dimension

This innings by Zimbabwe could have been the lowest total against Pakistan in ODIs, but missed out on the top spot, because of resistance put up by Wellington Masakadza. The lowest remains 64 by New Zealand when Pakistan had played them at Sharjah in 1986.

Unwanted histories made, calamity followed

The aggregate runs scored (136) by the two teams, tonight, is the 14th lowest in an ODI and the lowest between these two teams. The unsteady start by the Zimbabweans took a turn towards embarrassment when Zimbabwe were down to 43/7.

The total scored by Zimbabwe, 67, is the lowest ODI total in an innings by a team in 2018.

Accurate and dangerous with his yorkers and bounces, the Zimbabweans found no answer to Faheem's blistering pace attack.

Interestingly, the second lowest total of 2018 belongs to Pakistan, where they scored 74 runs against New Zealand at Dunedin.
