Batsmen in cricket, over decades, have faced the brunt of receiving some horrible send-offs by opposition bowlers.
Several of these send-offs can be considered well staged, whereas, few of them were purely in the heat of the moment.
The rivalry, sledging and sometimes the thought of outsmarting the other lead to these moments.

When Prasad asked Sohail to go back home
This incident occurred during the ICC World Cup 1996 in Bengaluru during the crunch India-Pakistan quarters battle.
Pakistan opener Aamir Sohail was going all guns blazing and smashed local boy Prasad for a boundary after charging down the wicket.
He wagged his finger at Prasad and then pointed towards the ball.
Next delivery Prasad bowled him out and asked him to go home.

When Shane Warne screamed at Andrew Hudson
Australia were touring South Africa for the first time since the re-admission of Proteas to Tests.
A young Shane Warne got all charged up in the first Test as he went on to bowl Hudson round his legs.
Many wouldn't have predicted the reaction that followed.
Warney charged down towards Hudson and started screaming, "F*** off. Go on, Hudson, f*** off out of here!"

When Steyn showed the numbers to Hafeez
In 2013, Pakistan toured South Africa before the Proteas came to UAE and played the Asian giants.
During this period, Dale Steyn dismissed Mohammad Hafeez a whopping 10 times.
In an ODI match at Centurion, Hafeez got drawn into a false stroke and chipped Steyn straight to mid-wicket.
Steyn then looked at him and worked on the numbers of dismissals with his fingers.
Marlon's cheeky salute send-off to Stokes
England and West Indies were involved in a Test match in 2015, and Ben Stokes had just got dismissed at deep mid-wicket after trying to clear the ropes.
As Stokes was making his way back, Marlon Samuels waited, before raising his right hand to salute the Englishman, with his left hand holding the hat close to his chest.
Stokes replied with a curse.
