Rain plays spoil sport in second India-WI game

The India - West Indies T20 series

After a 40 minute technical delay, rain played spoil sport in the second T20 match between India and West Indies.

Bowling first, India restricted West Indies to 143 runs in 19.4 overs. However, the covers were brought on the ground after two overs of India's innings.

The match was later called off and West Indies won the series 1-0.

Cricket giants West Indies and India will play a two-match Twenty20 series in the United States of America.

The two matches are scheduled to be played in Lauderhill, Florida.

The current World T20 champions, West Indies would look forward to win the series after losing 2-0 in the test series.

It will be the first time India will be playing cricket in USA.

It was a treat for cricket fans during the first T20 match as West Indies won the game by one run.

West Indies scored a whooping 245 runs with Evin Lewis scoring his maiden T20 ton.

In reply, India's KL Rahul also scored a ton, but the efforts went in vain as India fell short of one run, losing the match.

Highlights of the first T20

A total of 489 runs were scored by the two sides with 32 sixes being hit. Two tons were hit in the match which was witnessed by a crowd of about 15000 people in the stadium.
