FIFA 19 has been well received by fans for improving the football gameplay.
However, there were some issues in the game, most notably involving Petr Cech.
EA, the game developer, has now introduced its first update since the edition's release, resolving these issues.
The patch is already live for the PC version and will release soon for the console.
Read about it here.
Cech, Arsenal's current goal-keeper, is known for wearing his iconic helmet in matches.
FIFA 19 took it too far and made him wear the helmet, even in transfer or fee negotiation meetings, inside the game.
Cech jokingly tweeted the flaw and said he wore ties to meetings.
FIFA's latest update patch fixes it and carries the banter forth, mentioning that Cech got his tie.
It’s wrong guys ... I’d wear a tie 👔😂😂 pic.twitter.com/0qGSK3TvHg— Petr Cech (@PetrCech) September 27, 2018
The latest update has addressed two bug fixes which will impact the gameplay.
One of them includes the lace shot. Earlier hitting laces shots would, sometimes, result in a weak side foot shot. But now it has been resolved.
Gamers had also complained that the wrong part of the Champions League anthem would play during player line-ups. EA has addressed this issue as well.
Despite being the first major FIFA 19 update, the developers have not introduced any major gameplay changes.
This conservative approach is justified considering the negative feedback that FIFA 18 patches received.
Furthermore, FIFA 19 has released only recently and it is wise to let the game settle down and allow players to familiarize themselves with the gameplay before ushering in major changes.
