Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has received critical acclaim following its complete release.
Treyarch is looking to build on this by introducing update patches. Its latest update improves game stability and fixes some crashes that the game was facing.
However, the most important bit is the in-game tweaks that will make substantial differences in gameplay experience.
Read all about it here.
Among the gameplay changes in the new patch, the Battle Royale mode, Blackout has seen the most tweaks.
Different player counts are being tested, including 100-member duos and 88-member squads of 4 players.
Amongst multiplayer maps, the Team Deathmatch now supports teams of 6 instead of 5.
The Featured multiplayer playlist has changed to Heist and details of its workings will be out soon.
The fixes that have come to Black Ops 4 includes custom games which end after a team wins six rounds.
There were also instances of the game crashing if players won multiple medals in one match, which has been fixed.
Lastly, in the Zombies mode, there is a fix for the user interface error caused by internet connection loss while players used split-screen mode.
In the future, the developers will be monitoring and addressing several issues if required.
These include the Zombies mode's Easter Egg quests, the PC crash which has been linked to the Hellion Salvo launcher, multiplayer audio volume bugs and disappearing names of team-mates.
For Xbox gamers, the developers are investigating reports of both the Shadowman and the Classified content not showing up.
