The pacer also impressed in his short Test career.

India were dismal against England in 2011, but Praveen shined.
The player got his name on the Lord's honours board after picking his only five-for there.
But he wasn't given an extended run in the format.
Dengue affected his participation in 2011 World Cup
He was doing well in ODIs and was in the provisional squad for the ICC 2011 World Cup.
But he was affected by dengue which ended any hopes of him making it to the final squad.
He also played 66 first-class games for UP and ended with 267 wickets at an average of 23.61.
He played for several franchises in the IPL as well.
Praveen played 119 times in the IPL
He played 119 IPL matches and picked 90 wickets with a best of 3/18. He will be remembered as someone who claimed a hat-trick in the 2010 edition of the coveted tournament. We wish Praveen the very best for his new journey.
