#GamingBytes: FIFA 19 finally fixes Jesse Lingard, Wilfried Zaha's hair

FIFA 19 is the latest addition to the popular EA franchise and it has been praised for its realism.

The attention to detail helps EA to deliver the most immersive footballing experience possible.

While most fans have praised the new edition, Manchester United's Jesse Lingard and Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha weren't happy with it.

Lingard, the United forward, who has his own 'JLingz' celebration in-game, complained that his hairstyle has been the same on FIFA for '99 years'.

He was shown with shaved sides in the original version and asked it to be changed to his current hairstyle.

Zaha, too, put in a request via Twitter to have his old close-cropped hair changed to his current dreadlocks.

The need for representational accuracy

FIFA's quick rectification of the inaccuracy in something as trivial as a player's haircut, shows its attention to detail.

FIFA remains extremely popular because EA replicates real-world football in the game, be it stadiums, leagues or players.

Therefore, keeping a sharp eye on the minute details only goes to improve the overall experience and strengthens FIFA's popularity.
