Krunal Pandya had a bad day at office, in the first T20I, against Australia.
The all-rounder conceded 0/55 in his spell. Aussies smashed him all around the park as India lost the opener.
And the senior Pandya has revealed how his brother Hardik made fun of him after his poor show.
Notably, Krunal scripted a turnaround to pick four wickets in the third T20I.
Krunal put up a dismal show in the first match in Brisbane.
In his third over, Australia's Glenn Maxwell smashed him for three consecutive sixes.
Krunal conceded 23 runs in that over.
He was given another over after that, but he was smashed for 17 runs.
With the bat too, Krunal flopped, scoring 2 runs.
And Hardik took the opportunity to tease his brother.
Credit to Indian skipper Virat Kohli for giving Krunal another opportunity.
And he did not disappoint his skipper as he ended with figures of 4-0-36-4 in the third encounter.
The 27-year-old was awarded the player of the match and India won the match to level the series.
And post his heroics, Krunal opened up on his brother Hardik's reaction, who is nursing an injury.
"Hardik and I don't talk much about cricket. He was joking and laughing that I went for so many runs. I also joke when he plays poorly. That's all we talk about cricket," Krunal went on to claim.
Hardik has been out of the squad since his injury in the Asia Cup in 2018.
The player is expected to make a return to the Indian side during the ODIs against Australia in January 2019.
One can say that Hardik missing the series against West Indies and now Australia, led to Krunal getting an opportunity in T20Is.
And Hardik's elder brother didn't disappoint.
