#GamingBytes: All about the PUBG Global Finals Dubai

PUBG Mobile has taken the eSports circuit by storm as the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile Star Challenge 2018 Global Finals is being held in Dubai, as we had earlier reported.

The tournament has a prize pool of a whopping $6,00,000 and 20 teams will try to win the coveted chicken dinner.

It will conclude on December 1. Here's all you need to know.

Time to meet the contenders

The contenders include three teams from China, three representing North America, and three from Thailand. Besides, there are teams from Russia, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Korea, Japan and two teams from the Middle East. There is also a fan favourite team and an international team.

The participants, in the highly contested finals, include our team of local heroes from India.

They are the Mumbai based team, The Terrifying Nightmares and their squad members include Anand and Sakriya Puri, Amit Sharma and Mehul Dey.

They reached the finals by winning India's PUBG Mobile Campus Championship, that had been organized this October.

The Battle Royale is heating up

Tencent's General Manager of Global Publishing Center's Vincent Wang said, the tournament was heating up and "There's some great team names on the final players list, and we're guaranteed to see some heated matches over the next few days".

Other offerings in the tournament

Those attending the tournament can enjoy the 'Game Area' where interested contenders walk in and play PUBG Mobile matches.

Winners get special gifts and a drawing entry.

The 'Interactive Experience Area' allows participants to get rewards by completing all interactive contests or engaging in single events earning stamps, which can be exchanged for customized unique PMSC 2018 Global Finals tees.
