Alvaro Morata scored a late goal in the 83rd minute as Real Madrid went on to defeat Athletic Bilbao 2-1 in La Liga on Sunday.

The opening goal of the match was scored for Madrid by Karim Benzema in seventh minute. Bilbao's Merino Sabin scored the equalizer in the 27th minute.

The win has taken Real Madrid on top of the points table.
