Real Madrid were playing against Villareal when their star forward Gareth Bale injured his calf muscle and had to be shipped out during half-time.

Bale is known to be injury-prone and concerns were growing with the speculation that Bale might once again be out of the picture for long.

However, recent reports have clarified that the injury is not that serious.

After all the medical tests were completed, Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari told the press that the injury was not too serious and the forward would resume providing his services shortly.

This season, the Welshman has made a total of 22 appearances for Los Blancos, but only on five occasions did he manage to play a full 90 minutes.
