However, no further details were provided.
The injury may cause Bale to miss out on two La Liga matches against Real Sociedad and Real Betis respectively, and also their last 16 clash against Leganes in the Copa Del Rey.
Solari gives fans a ray of hope
After all the medical tests were completed, Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari told the press that the injury was not too serious and the forward would resume providing his services shortly.
This season, the Welshman has made a total of 22 appearances for Los Blancos, but only on five occasions did he manage to play a full 90 minutes.
