Sourav Ganguly (183 versus Sri Lanka) has the highest individual score by an Indian batsman.
He achieved the feat in the 1999 World Cup.
Ashish Nehra holds the record for the best bowling figures by an Indian in the World Cup.
He picked up 6/23 against England at Durban in 2003.
Legend Sachin Tendulkar has scored the most runs for India in the World Cup.
He amassed 2,278 runs from 45 matches.
His average stands at a whopping 56.95.
Tendulkar has also amassed the most centuries in the World Cup (6).
Australia's Ricky Ponting and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara (both 5) come next in the list.
Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid hold the record for the highest partnership amassed by any Indian batting pair.
They stitched a solid 318 runs for the second wicket against Sri Lanka in 2003.
Zaheer Khan and Javagal Srinath have picked up the joint-most wickets for India at the World Cup (44).
Anil Kumble is the most successful spinner for India (31 wickets).
