Naomi Osaka is the 2019 Australian Open champion

2018 US Open women's singles winner Naomi Osaka won her second consecutive Grand Slam.

The fourth seed beat Petra Kvitova in a thrilling three-setter in the final of the Australian Open 2019.

Osaka won the pulsating tie 7-6, 5-7, 6-4 in Melbourne on Saturday. This win also ensured her second career Slam and a place at the top of the WTA Rankings.
