The Kiwis go into this year's World Cup as a side that can go the distance.
We look at New Zealand's statistics, records in this event.

It is also the third best individual bowling performance in the coveted event.
Oram, Vettori and Fleming had enormous success

Besides Vettori, medium-pacer Jacob Oram also took the same number of scalps.

He sits on 12th spot in the list of the most runs scored by a batsman.
Some other massive records held by New Zealand cricketers
Fleming, Scott Styris and Guptill have all scored two hundreds for New Zealand in the World Cup.
Martin Crowe amassed eight fifties for the Black Caps in the World Cup. He played 21 matches.
Brendon McCullum has the joint-third highest dismissals recorded by a wicket-keeper (32).
All-rounder Chris Cairns took 16 catches for the Kiwis in the World Cup.
Key issues facing New Zealand and our prediction
New Zealand go into the World Cup facing issues with their batting line-up.
Their openers have been in woeful form since quite sometime. In the last 15 ODIs, they have only added 180 runs.
Also the batting is too dependent on Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor.
If they solve the problems, then one can expect the Kiwis to reach the semi-final stage.
