Jason Holder wants Windies to become the number one side

This month, West Indies pulled off a remarkable Test series victory against England at home.

Despite losing the third Test, the Windies sealed the series 2-1.

Skipper Jason Holder, who was suspended for the final match in St Lucia, highlighted that his side's main goal is now to become the world's number one side in the world.

Windies dominated the show in the first two Tests that were held in Barbados and Antigua respectively.

Holder had an enormous impact in these matches and led from the front.

His leadership attributes and form have been a telling story.

The ICC had suspended the player for slow over-rate in the second Test.

In his absence, Kraigg Brathwaite led the side in St Lucia.

'Our number one goal is to be at the top'

"Our bowlers have done an outstanding job. We need to continue to build and not rest on our laurels. Our number one goal is to be the number one team in the world so there is a lot to improve on," said the Windies skipper.

Windies shift their focus on ODIs

West Indies sit eighth in the current ICC Test Rankings.

They are ahead of only Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

Windies will be aiming to continue the momentum in the white-ball format.

Windies face stiff task against England in ODIs

Windies play the first ODI on February 20. The series will end on March 2. England are the number one team in ODIs and it will be a stiff task for the hosts to stop them. The Three Lions would aim for a clean sweep.
