Spain fought hard to hold New Zealand in a 3-3 draw and entered the quarter-finals of 2016 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup in Lucknow.

Spain are most likely to meet India in the final-eight.

With one win each from three matches, Spain and NZ were tied on the second position. But the Spaniards cruised through; because of upper hand in the goal difference.

Belgium vs NetherlandsBelgium stun Netherlands; top Pool B to enter quarter-finals

Belgium put on a spirited performance to defeat Netherlands 3-2 in the Pool B match on Sunday.

They came back from a goal down to stun the Dutch with a 69th minute goal from Raes Henri after a 2-2 tie.

Belgium will meet Malaysia in their next encounter, while Netherlands will be up against minnows Egypt.

Malaysia open their account beating Egypt 2-0

In another Pool B match, Malaysia won 2-0 against Egypt to register their first win of the tournament. With a goal scored in each of the halves, Malaysia will have to defeat Belgium in their next match to enter the quarter-finals.

Germany top table with a third win

Germany crushed Japan 6-1 to win their third Pool C match of the tournament. With three wins from three matches, they have topped the Pool, having made their place in the quarter-finals earlier.

India will look to iron out all their flaws in the final round up game as they meet South Africa today in Pool D.

In Pool A matches, Australia will be up against Austria while Argentina will face Korea.
