Kolkata Knight Riders have decided to bolster their pace options in the ongoing 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019.
The eastern outfit, who had lost South African pacer Anrich Nortje with a shoulder injury before the season, has announced his replacement.
KKR signed uncapped Australian pacer Matt Kelly.
Here is more on the same.

Kelly plays for Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League.
He has played a total of 12 T20s for the Scorchers.
The right-arm fast medium pacer has taken a decent 19 scalps at a decent economy rate of 7.43.
Meanwhile, he has appeared in 16 first-class matches so far.
Kelly has taken 54 wickets at 25.66.
He has also played five List A matches.
It's a big moment for the player to be signed by an IPL franchise.
He will be looking to make an impact when called upon.
He replaces the 25-year-old Nortje, who was ruled out of the tournament.
Nortje was bought by KKR at his base price of Rs. 20 lakh.
KKR have two foreign specialist pacers and the addition of Kelly bolsters the squad.
KKR have looked up to youngster Prasidh Krishna in the pace department.
Lockie Ferguson hasn't performed to his abilities.
Harry Gurney started well, but faltered in the second game against Chennai.
The side will hope that the addition of Kelly proves to be successful.
He has an excellent range of yorkers and can do well at the death. This could benefit KKR.
