RR vs SRH: Match preview, head-to-head records and pitch report
RR have eight points from 11 matches and it's another must-win scenario for them.
SRH are ahead with 10 points and also have played a game less.
Here is the detailed match preview.
RR's top three hold the key against solid SRH bowling
RR will look to continue in the same vein after an all-round performance against KKR.
Their batsmen will be challenged against a solid SRH bowling unit.
So the onus will be on the top three to fire.
Ajinkya Rahane has found some form going.
Riyan Parag has shown his credentials in the middle order.
Shreyas Gopal is a crucial force with his pinch-hitting ability.
SRH could see some changes in batting order
SRH will have to adjust without Jonny Bairstow, who had a terrific debut season in the IPL.
One expects Wriddhiman Saha to come in and perhaps share the opening role with in-form David Warner.
Kane Williamson is set to return and will be eyeing to score some runs after failing to strike this term.
Manish Pandey will look to provide the added comfort.
Pitch report, TV listing and timing
It remains to be seen which pitch they use for this tie.
The last game witnessed scores of 190-plus.
Prior to that, the tracks were a bit slow.
Teams batting first will need to apply themselves and play as per the conditions.
The match is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM IST.
One can watch the match live on the Star Sports Network.
Head-to-head meetings between the two teams
The two sides have met 10 times in the IPL. SRH have a 6-4 advantage over their rivals. Interestingly, SRH have also beaten RR in their last four encounters.
RR will miss the services of Archer and Stokes
RR will be without talisman Jofra Archer, who won't take further part this season. Joining him is Ben Stokes. The two players will fly back to England ahead of the ODIs against Pakistan. The onus will be on the Indian bowlers to come strong.
Khaleel Ahmed provides the cushion in bowling
Khaleel Ahmed has come in for SRH and so far he has done a commendable job. His variations and slower balls have bore the fruit. Rashid Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the main forces. SRH may replace Sandeep Sharma and get in Siddarth Kaul.
