IPL 2019: KKR beat MI, here are the records broken
KKR finally won a match after six successive losses.
Batting first, the Knight Riders rode on two strong knocks from Shubman Gill (76) and Andre Russell (80*) to post 232/2.
MI couldn't get past the line.

Powerful Russell smashes a host of records
Andre Russell (80*) smashed six fours and eight sixes.
He has registered 50 sixes in IPL 2019.
The powerful all-rounder now has 486 runs this season and is only behind Orange Cap holder David Warner (611).
Russell scripted his fourth fifty in IPL 12.
He now has eight career IPL fifties.
He needs six more fours to register the feat of 100 in IPL.
Lynn, Gill amass individual feats
He registered his fourth IPL fifty this season.
The Australian also amassed his 10th career IPL fifty.
He shared a 96-run opening partnership with Shubman Gill.
This was KKR's best stand for the first wicket this season.
Gill smashed his second fifty in IPL 12.
He now has three career IPL fifties.
KKR smash records with 232/2 on board
KKR's total of 232/2 against MI is now the highest score in IPL 2019.
This is also their second highest total in IPL history.
Interestingly, this is the second highest total versus MI by a side in IPL.
The score is also the highest total at the Eden Gardens in IPL.
This is also the joint-seventh highest score in IPL history.
Rohit achieves a special milestone, Russell joins Gayle's club
Russell became the second player after Chris Gayle to hit 50-plus sixes in an IPL season.
Gayle smashed 59 sixes in 2012 and a further 51 in 2013.
This was Rohit Sharma's 100th match as a captain in IPL.
He became only the fourth player to achieve this feat after the likes of MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli.

How did the match pan out?
KKR got off to a dream start as both Lynn and Gill took the initiative from the start.
They scored emphatically and launched the platform for Russell to come in.
After taking his time, the West Indian wrecked havoc at Eden Gardens.
In reply, MI lost both their openers in the beginning.
That saw them lose momentum in the chase.
