Milestones

Rohit achieves a special milestone, Russell joins Gayle's club

Russell became the second player after Chris Gayle to hit 50-plus sixes in an IPL season.

Gayle smashed 59 sixes in 2012 and a further 51 in 2013.

This was Rohit Sharma's 100th match as a captain in IPL.

He became only the fourth player to achieve this feat after the likes of MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli.

How did the match pan out?

How did the match pan out?

KKR got off to a dream start as both Lynn and Gill took the initiative from the start.

They scored emphatically and launched the platform for Russell to come in.

After taking his time, the West Indian wrecked havoc at Eden Gardens.

In reply, MI lost both their openers in the beginning.

That saw them lose momentum in the chase.

A century of sixes for DK!
