Indian skipper Virat Kohli, on Sunday, survived an injury scare as he had reportedly hurt his thumb while training.
Although there was panic for a moment, he has been cleared off any major concern as the thumb injury was deemed minor.
Here's more on the issue.
Kohli hurt his thumb while fielding
Kohli suffered the injury during a training session at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton, where India are scheduled to play their opener.
While he was fielding, Kohli was struck on his thumb.
Physiotherapist Patrick Farhart attended him immediately as he used the magic spray on his finger, before taping it.
Kohli continued to take part in the rest of the training session.

Kedar Jadhav and Vijay Shankar too recovering from injuries
Kohli's minor accident did give a scare to Men In Blue, who are already struggling with a couple of injuries in the form of Kedar Jadhav and Vijay Shankar.
Jadhav is recovering from his left shoulder injury, he suffered during IPL 2019.
Meanwhile, Shankar has been recovering from an elbow injury, he suffered last week against New Zealand during the warm-up at The Oval.
India prepare to overcome South African hurdle
As Kohli has three more days to recover, he and Team India would be eyeing a winning start to their World Cup campaign against South Africa.
With the match being played in Southampton, the track would assist seamers.
Swing bowling has troubled Indian batsmen in the past. Even in the warm-up against New Zealand, Trent Boult overpowered them.
However, India still enter as favorites.
