Euro T20 Slam league: Dale Steyn joins as marquee player
In an interesting development, South African veteran speedster Dale Steyn will be seen in the upcoming Euro T20 Slam league.
Steyn is one of the marquee players for the first edition of the tournament to be held across Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands.
The tourney is set to start from August 30.

Steyn has been successful in T20 cricket
Steyn has 439 Test wickets under his belt. The legendary bowler has also enjoyed a sound T20 career. In 201 matches, he has picked up 231 wickets at an economy-rate of 6.70.
Injury woes forced Steyn out of 2019 World Cup
The 36-year-old Steyn was initially in South Africa's ICC World Cup 2019 squad.
He was then forced to pull out of the ongoing event due to fitness issues.
Earlier, Steyn was also forced to leave the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. He was called up as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile and played just two matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Steyn never quite going post 2018
Steyn's career has been hampered due to injuries. In this decade, he has endured multiple injuries.
Last year he featured against India in the first Test, before getting injured midway through the match.
He made a return in July 2018.
Steyn's worst moment came in 2016 when he suffered a shoulder injury. Physiotherapy and rehab helped him regain fitness.
