First series win for Virat as full time ODI captain

India's 2-1 series win against England was a first for the newly-appointed full time captain of Indian ODI team, Virat Kohli.

The captain himself performed well in the series, scoring 185 runs at an average of 61.66; scoring a century and a fifty.

He also became the first captain to score the quickest 1000 ODI-runs, taking only 17 innings against AB de Villiers's 18.

After a successful test and ODI series against England, Virat Kohli will lead India in T20 series which starts from 26 January. It will be the first series for Kohli after becoming the full time ODI and T20 captain.
