The same was evident during the ICC World Cup in England, as the fans had already bought tickets for the final.

However, with India being knocked out in the semis, they are now looking to resell their tickets.

Meanwhile, New Zealand's James Neesham requested the Indian fans to sell it via official platform.

With half of the Lord's tickets for the final being bought by Indian fans, most of them have now been put on sale.

Neesham has requested the fans to not sell it at an exorbitant amount to rich people, but give the genuine cricket fans a chance to afford the tickets so that they can watch the highly-anticipated final between New Zealand and England.

Tickets being resold at 50x the original price

As per an India Today report, tickets are being sold on third-party websites like StubHub and Viagogo, with the price being more than £2,000 (Rs. 1.7 lakh).

The fans are ideally expected to put their tickets for reselling on the official platform.

Nearly 30,000 fans would be present on the ground to watch the finale of the 2019 edition at Lord's.
