Sunrisers Hyderabad appoint World Cup winning coach Trevor Bayliss
The current England boss will replace Tom Moody at SRH.
Moody was at the helm since 2013. Under him, SRH won the IPL trophy in 2016.
Earlier, there were reports that Bayliss was being signed by Kolkata Knight Riders but SRH cleared the speculations by confirming his appointment.
SRH thank Moody, confirm appointment of Bayliss
Moody on being a part of the SRH family
It’s been a privilege to work for Sunrisers Hyderabad, I have made many friendships and good memories. The success we’ve enjoyed over the 7 yrs is a testament to a hard working team on and off the field. A special thank you to the players, support staff and all the fans. 🙏 https://t.co/2dYphE3yQF— Tom Moody (@TomMoodyCricket) July 18, 2019
Bayliss to step down as England's coach in September 2019
A few days back, Bayliss had confirmed that he no longer intends to continue with England once his tenure ends in September 2019.
"I have always been a believer that four or five years is long enough, whether you are doing well or not. It is time for a new voice for the boys, to hopefully take them to another level," said Bayliss.

Under his guidance, England managed to win the 2019 World Cup last Sunday.
He had taken over as England's head coach in May 2015.
Bayliss helped England reach the number one ranking in ODIs and saw them dominate the circuit in the last couple of years.
England also won the 2015 Ashes at home (3-2) under Bayliss.
The Ashes 2019 is his final assignment.
Bayliss is an experienced campaigner in franchise T20 cricket
Bayliss brings plenty of knowledge as a coach.
He has been prolific in both international and T20 franchise cricket.
Bayliss was KKR's coach from 2011-2014.
It was under his guidance that the eastern giants won two IPL honors in 2012 and 2014.
Bayliss has also won the Big Bash League and the Champions League with the Sydney Sixers.
Under Moody, SRH delivered consistency
Moody was a guiding force for SRH and helped the side win the 2016 IPL title. Under his guidance, the team delivered consistency and also reached the final of the 2018 edition. Moody had a special relation with the players and will be missed dearly.
Bayliss needs to continue the work of Moody
SRH qualified for five play-offs across seven seasons under Moody. So the task will be clear for Bayliss. He will need to continue in the same vein and get the team firing. He has some star players to work with and that's a bonus.
