Jamie Vardy's two goals helped Leicester City defeat Liverpool 3-1 in their first game post Ranieri's sacking to keep Premier League's survival hopes alive.

Vardy scored the first goal in the 28th minute, while the second came in the 60th minute. The third goal was netted by Danny Drinkwater in the 39th minute.

Philippe scored the only goal for Liverpool in the 68th minute.

In honour of the sacked manager Claudio Ranieri, fans presented him with banners, masks and a smartphone light show in the 65th minute of the Leicester City - Liverpool game. The fans also chanted his name and gave him an applaud during the match.

He said, "Do I think I'm capable of it? Yes. Does it faze me? No."
