Yusuf Pathan refuses to walk off after incorrect decision
Baroda's middle-order batsman Yusuf Pathan was involved in a mild controversy after he refused to walk off despite the umpire declaring him out.
The incident happened during their Ranji Trophy tie against Mumbai in Vadodara on Thursday, as the latter won the match comfortably by 309 runs.

Pathan refused to walk off following unclear catch
The incident happened on the final day when during the 48th over, Shashank Attarde bowled to Pathan, as the latter played a forward defensive shot.
However, the ball was caught by Jay Gokul Bista, who was fielding at the short leg.
After some thinking, the umpire raised his finger, as Pathan refused to walk off before Mumbai senior-pro Ajinkya Rahane convinced him to.
Pathan likely to draw penalty for showing dissent towards umpire
As Pathan eventually walked off, he kept on shaking his head and was visibly not happy with the decision.
Nonetheless, the move by Pathan is likely to draw the attention of the match officials, and in all circumstances, he has violated a code of conduct, owing to which he would most certainly be sanctioned.

As for the match, winning the toss and electing to bat, Mumbai scored 431.
Shams Mulani scored 89, while Baroda were dismissed for 307, as Mulani claimed 6/99.
The second innings saw Mumbai scoring 409/4, as Prithvi Shaw smashed 202, along with Suryakumar Yadav's unbeaten 102.
In reply, Baroda were bundled out for 224, as Mulani once again dazzled with 4/72.

He managed to score just 16 runs in this tie, besides claiming 3/75.
He featured in nine T20s, where he scored 136 runs and claimed three wickets.
