Royal Challengers Bangalore continued their poor form in the 2017 Indian Premier League and lost the match against Kings XI Punjab. Punjab won it by 19 runs.

Chasing a target of 139, only RCB opener Mandeep Singh put up a fight and remained the highest scorer with 46 runs.

RCB kept losing wickets and were bowled out for the fourth time in this season.

Virtually out of the race for a place in the play-offs, Royal Challengers Bangalore will play for pride as they host Kings XI Punjab.

On the other hand, fifth ranked Punjab will be eyeing two points and a place in the play-offs.

It is their second encounter this season, with Punjab winning the previous one by eight wickets.
