Wasim Akram is the leading wicket taker in the India Pakistan matches. In 48 matches, Akram has picked up 60 wickets and has a phenomenal economy rate of 3.73.
He is followed by fellow countryman Saqlain Mushtaq, who has 57 wickets from 36 matches.
Anil Kumble and Javagal Srinath have 54 wickets each and are India's most successful bowlers against Pakistan.
Best bowling figures
One of the best fast-bowlers from Pakistan, Aaqib Javed had destroyed Indian batting in the finals of Wills Trophy in 1991. He picked up seven wickets, giving away just 37 runs in 10 overs. From Indian side, Sourav Ganguly has best bowling figures of 5/16.

Scoring 2526 runs from 67 innings, Sachin Tendulkar is more than 100 runs ahead of Inzamam-ul-Haq to be the leading run scorer in the India Pakistan ODI matches. He has five centuries and 16 half centuries against Pakistan at an average of 40.09.
Former Indian captain Rahul Dravid is the fourth highest scorer with 1899 runs from 55 innings.

Pakistan's batting legend Saeed Anwar holds the record of the highest individual score with 194 runs. It was also the highest individual score in an ODI innings, until Sachin Tendulkar scored a double century. Virat Kohli's 183 is the second highest individual score.

India have defeated Pakistan in both the ICC tournaments played since 2012.
