Recording their fourth century partnership in the Champions Trophy, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma have scored six 50-plus partnerships. They went past West Indies' pair of Chris Gayle and Shivnarine Chanderpaul who have five 50-plus stands.

Sharma and Dhawan have shared eight 50-plus opening stands for India in the ICC tournament, sharing the record with pairs of Sachin Tendulkar-Sourav Ganguly and Tendulkar-Sehwag.

First duck for Kohli in ICC tournaments

Indian skipper Kohli got out for zero run today, a first for him in 43 innings of the ICC tournaments. It was also the first time since August 2014, that Kohli went back to pavilion without scoring a run in the ODIs.

Shikhar Dhawan scored 125 runs today, hitting his tenth ODI century in 77 innings, third quickest by anyone.

Interestingly, he has scored five of them in ICC tournaments in just 15 innings, three of which have come in seven innings of the Champions Trophy.

Completing 500 runs in the CT, he is also the quickest player to reach the mark.

62nd half-century for Dhoni

MS Dhoni hit his 62nd half century in the ODIs and 17th against Sri Lanka, as he went on to score 63 runs off 52 balls. He hit seven fours and two sixes in his innings.
