Prince Harry, Meghan Markle announce their wedding date!
The wedding breaks more than one royal tradition
This wedding marks a departure from the royal traditions in several ways.
Organized on a Saturday, it's the first to be held on a weekend. Royal weddings are usually solemnized on weekdays. Queen Elizabeth II had hers on a Thursday and Prince William's on a Friday.
It's also the first time that a British monarchy member is marrying an American and a divorcee.
Markle to be baptized into the Church of England
Since Markle is a Protestant, she will be baptized into the Church of England before the wedding.
Most known for her role in 'Suits', she says she'd start with a "clean slate" as Prince Harry's wife. The two will live at Kensington Palace's Nottingham Cottage, after they're married. They will spend Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham.
