This 10-year-old Indian-origin boy is intelligent than Einstein, Stephen Hawking

Mehul Garg, a 10-year-old Indian-origin boy, living in the UK has beaten geniuses like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking by scoring 162 in the Mensa IQ (Intelligence Quotient) test.

He has become the youngest applicant in a decade to receive the maximum score in the test in a decade.

His score is two points higher than that of Einstein and Hawking- 160.

Mehul's brother also scored the maximum score of 162

Mehul's older brother, 13-year-old Dhruv, also scored 162 in Mensa IQ, last year. Their mother, Divya Garg, said: "Mahi (Mehul) is fiercely competitive. His older brother had achieved the same score...he really wanted to prove that he is no less intelligent than his brother."

Mehul's IQ score is among the world's top 1%

Mehul is a student of Reading Boys Grammar School in southern England's Reading.

By scoring the maximum score, he became among the top 1% people in the world to achieve this and is now a member of Mensa, the High IQ Society.

His mother said the IQ test had challenged his "language skills, including analogies and definitions, and his sense of logic."

Social Projects

Working on an app to reduce social-isolation by connecting neighbors

Mehul's passions include cricket and ice-skating while mathematics is his favorite subject. He also enjoys solving the Rubik's cube in 100 seconds.

He wants to lead a tech giant like Google when he grows up.

Mehul and Dhruv are also pursuing social projects. They are raising funds to build an app that reduces social isolation and have collected £1,300 (over Rs. 1.17L) so far.

Working on projects to make world a better place

Divya Garg said: "They (Dhruv and Mehul) both are currently working on social projects and want to give something back, to make the world a better place. I hope they continue on this path always. For me, this is more important than their marks."
