Former Virginia governor says guns not the problem

While there was much talk about stricter gun control, the former governor of Virginia said that the guns weren't the real problem.

He said that people should be made aware of "the need for easier involuntary commitment of the dangerous mentally ill... and surer appropriate punishment of criminals."

He further said that stricter gun control would only end up curbing the Second Amendment Rights.

What does the Second Amendment entail?

According to the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
