Quite like the diesel-based S-Cross, the petrol-powered model also gets a sporty look featuring an appealing front fascia, a muscular bonnet, vertical-slat chrome grille, and faux skid plates.
The car sports an impressive side profile with blacked-out wheel arches, silver-colored side sills, and 16-inch angular-looking alloy wheels.
Further, it has a wheelbase of 2,600mm and a ground clearance of 180mm.
Inside the cabin
The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross offers a spacious five-seater cabin with a height-adjustable driver seat, leather upholstery, and a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel.
It also houses a semi-digital instrument console and a centrally-mounted touchscreen infotainment panel with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
Moreover, the car retains the safety elements of its diesel-powered sibling.
Power and performance
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Cross draws power from a BS6-compliant 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine, that either comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or automatic transmission. It is capable of producing 105hp of maximum power and 138Nm of peak torque.
And, what will be the pricing?
Maruti Suzuki will reveal the prices of the petrol-powered S-Cross in May. However, reports suggest that the upcoming car will come at a comparatively cheaper price than the diesel-based model that falls under Rs. 8.81-11.44 lakh price bracket.
