Vodafone is trying every bit to remain relevant in India as it struggles to clear the adjusted gross revenue dues of Rs. 53,000 crore. Recently, the telco wrote to the Department of Telecom seeking higher tariffs for data, calls and connection charges.
And now, in an attempt to retain existing subscribers, it has started offering an extra 1.5GB data/day with select prepaid plans.
Vodafone is providing this free data benefit as part of its limited-period double data offer. So, if you recharge with the Rs. 249 pack, you will get double data i.e. 3GB per day (1.5GB data from the plan and an extra 1.5GB).
The plan also offers unlimited calling within India, 100 SMSes per day, and a service validity of 28 days.
Like the Rs. 249 plan, the Rs. 399 recharge pack also comes with extra 1.5GB data. Hence, in total, subscribers get 3GB data per day, unlimited calling benefit, 100 SMSes per day, and a validity of 56 days.
If you are looking for a prepaid plan with longer validity and good data benefit, Vodafone's existing Rs. 599 pack is a great option.
As part of the double data offer, subscribers will get 3GB data per day (1.5GB+1.5GB) along with unlimited calling benefit and 100 daily SMSes.
As for validity, this recharge pack has a service period of 84 days.
Alongside the double data and unlimited calling benefits, these plans also offer complimentary access to Vodafone Play and ZEE5. With all of these aforementioned plans, you get Vodafone Play subscription worth Rs. 499 and ZEE5 subscription worth Rs. 999 for free.
