With an increase in GST rates on smartphones from 12% to 18%, Chinese tech giant Realme has increased the prices of its handsets.
Here's a look at some popular Realme handsets that have received a price-hike in India.
Realme's premium smartphone, the X2 Pro, which was launched at Rs. 27,999, has become costlier by Rs. 2,000 and is currently available at Rs. 29,999.
It comes with a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint reader.
The phone is fueled by a flagship-grade Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and a 4,000mAh battery with 50W fast-charging technology.
The quad camera setup on the X2 Pro comprises a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 13MP (f/2.5) telephoto lens, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. For selfies, video calling, and face unlock, the handset houses a 16MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.
The phone sports an in-trend dual punch-hole design featuring a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD screen, 90Hz refresh rate, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 720G processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support.
The Realme 6 Pro offers quad rear cameras including a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.3) ultra-wide angle sensor, a 12MP (f/2.5) telephoto sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera. Up front, the handset houses 16MP+8MP cameras for selfies, video calling, and face unlock.
Featuring a familiar waterdrop notched design, the handset sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ resolution and an in-screen fingerprint reader.
Under the hood, it packs a Snapdragon 712 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB RAM and a 4,000mAh battery.
The Realme XT offers a quad camera setup featuring a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.25) ultra-wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP (f/2.4) lenses for depth sensing and macro photography. Up front, it houses a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.
Lastly, the entry-level Realme C3 is available at Rs. 7,499 as against its previous starting price of Rs. 6,999.

It packs a MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage, and a solid 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support.
In the imaging department, the Realme C3 houses a dual rear camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.8) primary sensor coupled with another 2MP (f/2.4) lens to capture depth details. For the selfie lovers, the handset offers a 5MP (f/2.4) front-facing snapper.
Apart from the aforementioned models, Realme has also increased the price of its first-ever 5G handset, the X50 Pro. The phone is now available at Rs. 39,999 (previous price: Rs. 37,999).
Further, the Realme X2 is available at Rs. 17,999, while the Realme 6 is listed at a starting price of Rs. 13,999.
