A BJP leader in Telangana has alleged his Facebook account has been hacked by unidentified people.
T Raja Singh Lodh, who represents the Goshamahal constituency in Hyderabad, filed a complaint with Cyber Crime Police yesterday stating he was unable to access his Facebook page.
Singh said his Facebook page has over 5.35L followers and suspected that it may have been hacked from outside India.
"I'm shocked (over the incident). If any wrong message is posted on my page I won't be responsible," said the legislator of the dissolved Telangana Assembly, known for his controversial remarks.
He also claimed there were several unsuccessful attempts made in the past to hack his website and Facebook and Twitter accounts.
A case has been registered under IT Act. A probe is on.
