The University of Delhi (DU) declared its first cut-off for admission in several undergraduate courses on Thursday night.
Students who wish to take admission in the prestigious university can visit the official website- du.ac.in, to check college-wise and subject-wise cut-offs. They can then start applying accordingly.
Based on the number of seats available, colleges will release a second or third cut-off list.
Like mentioned earlier, students who want to check cut-offs can visit the official website of DU.
On the main page, click on "Undergraduate Admissions" which will take you to another page.
Thereafter, you can click on links which read "Science, Arts and Commerce, and B.A. (Prog.)" to know about the cut-offs. You can also download the PDF file.
This time, Hindu college's cut-off was the highest. Only students who have scored a minimum of 99% marks can take admission in the college's Political Science (Honors) course.
In fact, Hindu college also set sky-high cut-offs for admission in science stream courses.
For taking admission in B.Sc. Physics (Honors) students need 98.3% marks, and for Statistics Honors and Mathematics, they need 97.75%.
Meanwhile, Dyal Singh College's 98.33% cut-off for admission in Computer Science and Daulat Ram College's 97.6% for Physics are also among the university's highest cut-offs.
For admission in journalism in DCAC, students require a minimum of 98.50% marks. Kirori Mal College has asked for 98.50% for admission in B.Com Honors.
LSR College demands 98.75% marks for admission in BA Prog and Psychology Honors.
Sri Guru Tej Bahadur Khalsa College set 98% cut-off for admission in B.Sc (Honors) Computer Science. Cut-offs for admission in Chemistry, Electronics, and Mathematics was set at 97%.
Hansraj College set 97.33% cut-off for admission in B.Sc (Honors) Physics.
Sri Venkateswara College is demanding 97.75% marks for admission in B.Sc. (Honors) Mathematics, whereas the cut-off for B.Sc. (Honors) Physics is 97.33%.
